Prepare the Surface: Remove loose paint, dust, and grease by sanding with emery paper. Wipe the surface clean with a soft cloth.
Newly Plastered Surfaces: Allow newly plastered surfaces to cure for 3 months before painting. Before applying putty, sprinkle the surface with water.
Application Process:
- Mix Glaymax Wall Putty with 30-35% water by weight.
- Apply the first coat evenly with a putty blade. Let it dry for 4-5 hours.
- If necessary, gently rub the surface with abrasive paper or a putty blade to remove any loose particles.
- Apply the second coat and let it dry for 10-12 hours. Ensure the putty layer is 1.5 mm thick or less.
